Curbside Protocol for Clients

  • Schedule appointment – Please feel free to text us at 571-200-8922 or Call us at 703-256-8414. Want an even faster way to book? Join us on vitusvet and request appointments and medication refills right from your mobile device or computer. Just navigate to vitusvet.com for more information.
  • Arrive to your scheduled appointment 5 – 10 minutes early, with a charged cell phone.
  • Check in from your car by texting us at (703) 200-8922. Please include the parking space number you pulled into, your pet’s name, your last name, and your appointment time.
  • New to our practice? Head to our website and fill out our new client form prior to your visit. This helps cut down your wait time, and help us get your information entered in quickly
  • Wait in your car for a technician or doctor to contact you when we’re ready for your pet’s appointment. It is important that your phone be on and audible at this time, so that you may receive alerts.
  • Meet our staff at your vehicle when you have been notified that your pet’s appointment is ready. At this time, please bring your pet to our front door.  Per mandated safety measures, please make sure you have a mask on when we come to your vehicle
  • Keep your phone on + audible during the appointment – we may need to contact you to discuss findings or ask questions during your pet’s exam.
  • Pay for your pet’s appointment – once your appointment is finished, you will receive a call from our reception team to go over charges and process payment. If you have a card on file you would like to be charged, please let us know at the beginning of your appointment. This will allow for a smooth and timely return of your pet. Payment for your pet’s appointment should be made before leaving our office. A digital receipt will be emailed to you.
  • If you prefer to pay with a credit card over the phone, please let our staff know, and they can assist you.
  • Pick up your pet – after your appointment is over, we will contact you (via text or phone call) to notify you that your pet is ready for pickup. At this time, you can meet us at the front door, where we will discharge your pet to you, and give you any medications or other materials you need. Itemized digital invoices are available upon request.
