Dr. Bussanich was born and raised in Northern Virginia, where she played softball, basketball, and worked as a veterinary assistant and then technician.
She attended undergraduate studies at the University of Delaware before achieving her doctorate at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine along with her clinical rotation at Louisiana State University.
As a practitioner, she enjoys feline behavior and medicine, pain management, and preventative health care. She enjoys creating bonds with her patients and clients to create a team for pet’s best care.
She is a member of the AVMA, American Veterinary Medical Association as well as Alpha Psi Veterinary Fraternity. Away from work, she loves to spend time with her always growing family of pets, cooking, and traveling in her camper van. She and her family enjoy season tickets to the Washington Nationals and Capitals and try to attend as many games as possible.
