The 1998 General Assembly passed the following amendment to require a separate disclosure form for staffing hours. This law became effective July 1, 1998. Code 54.1-38061 of Virginia states: Any animal medical care facility in the commonwealth, which does not provide continuous medical care for all animals left in its charge, shall before taking charge of an animal, provide the client with a disclosure form which specifies the hours and days when continuous medical care is not available at the facility. Except in emergency situations when time or circumstances does not permit, such facilities may take charge of an animal only after the client thereof has signed the disclosure form and returned it to the facility.

Town & Country Animal Hospital (Full Service Facility - 9836 Fairfax Blvd.):
Monday through Friday: 7:00AM to 8:00PM
Saturday: 8:00AM to 5:00PM
Sunday and Holidays: Closed
Please note that except during the above noted hours of operation, continuous veterinary medical care is not available.
